Texas Officers to Run on South Padre Island for Animal Rescue

Texas Narcotic Officers Association to hold a 5K benefitting Friends of Animal Rescue in conjunction with their annual conference on South Padre Island.

The Texas Narcotic Officers Association (TNOA) will be hosting their annual conference at the South Padre Island Convention Center. This year they will also be hosting a 5K to benefit Friends of Animal Rescue.

SPI hosts a Jailbreak Race, Causeway Run, and Sand Crab 5K so it welcomes another running event to the area. The run will take place on the beach by the Hilton Garden Inn, 7010 Padre Blvd. T-shirts will be provided to the first 200 runners. Trophies and medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places in each age category.

Friends of Animal Rescue will be on the deck beachside with pets available for adoption. The run is open to the public and children are welcome. Refreshments will be provided for participants. Come for the run and go home with a new pet.
