Tropical Storm Warning
A tropical storm warning is in effect for the South Padre Island area.
Tropical Depression Two is centered just off our coast and should make landfall withing the next few hours. We will experience increasing winds and steady moderate to heavy rain for the rest of Thursday.
Outside objects should be secured so they do not blow around in gusty winds.
A minimal storm surge of 2-3 feet above normal is expected.
