Event Description:

Please join the Surfrider Foundation South Texas Chapter and the City of South Padre Island for our 2nd Dune Restoration Planting of the 2012/13 season on Saturday, December 1st from 9AM-12PM! Come on out and help us in completing a continuous dune line that will help preserve and restore our beaches after storms as well as provide habitat for local flora and fauna while providing natural infrastructure protection for the island.

This Dune Planting will be taking place at Beach Access #17 between Mars and Jupiter Streets! All supplies and water will be provided! This is an excellent educational and community service opportunity for families, schools and community organizations looking to give back to the great natural resource that is our beach!
