The 19th Annual World's Championship Shrimp Cook-Off will take place on Sunday, November 4th at Las Palmas Shopping Center in front of Beall's Department Store on Highway 100, this culinary tradition is expected to be even bigger and better! Dozens of professional and amateur will expertly prepare over one ton of fresh wild caught Gulf shrimp in a wide variety of ways from boiled to coconut to cocktails to fried and scampi. While munching on tasty shrimp you can shop for jewelry, collectibles, art and more from the vendors set up on the grounds. There will be a mini-carnival for the kids, balloon animals, face painting and games. Gates will open at 10:00 AM.
