3. Public Comments and Announcements: This is an opportunity for citizens to speak to Council relating to agenda or non-agenda items. Speakers are required to address Council at the podium and give their name before addressing their concerns. [Note: State law will not permit the City Council to discuss, debate or consider items that are not on the agenda. Citizen comments may be referred to City Staff or may be placed on the agenda of a future City Council meeting]
4. Discussion and review of Hotel Occupancy Tax, Property Tax, Sales Tax and other revenue sources. (Free)
5. Discussion and review of expenditure reports by fund and department. (Department Directors)
6. Discussion regarding the implementation of the 2% cost of living adjustment approved in fiscal year 2011/2012 budget with an effective date of April 1, 2012 for city employees. (Clarke)
7. Discussion regarding budget adjustment in the amount of $36,000 to implement year 1 of the 5 year plan regarding a strategy to adjust the City's compensation plan to increase city employee pay rates each year so that by 2017 each employee will be paid at the average market rate for that position. (Clarke)
8. Discussion regarding glass-to-sand feasibility study. (Bagley/Trevino)
9. Discussion regarding the renovation of the old City Hall located at 4501 Padre Boulevard. (Listi/Jones)
10. Discussion regarding the park project located at 6100 Padre Boulevard, Lot 2, Block 1, Replat of Villas Doce Subdivision commonly referred to as the property located next to the Travel Lodge site. (Listi/Jones)
11. Discussion regarding sidewalks on Padre Boulevard. (Bagley)
